Our hog roast in Ipswich was a really lovely event, our clients had booked us many months ago and had accidentally given us the wrong guest numbers.
This meant that on the morning they were in a panic when they realised that they had asked for a hog roast to feed 50 people but there were 80 people coming to their Ipswich garden party.
Parkers always try to be resourceful and we realised that our Sunday event was actually smaller than expected so we contacted our sunday guests who were more than happy to switch their pig for a smaller one and get some money back too.
Of course it was just a bit of luck, it meant that with one phonecall we had saved one client some money and then supplied a bigger pig to our Ipswich hog roast event, of course there was a small downside in that the ipswich hog roast client had to pay a little more but they were over the moon and were delighted to do so.
That gave us a really good rapport and our short trip to Whitton was very worthwhile, the garden was beautiful and our clients had booked the hog roast as they had an open day. It was a really lovely event and the garden was a beautiful place which was appreciated by everyone.
The client also had a large family who were also down for this annual event and so it was a day full of fun and games and the sun also shone for us.
We headed home after lots of handshakes and thanks and our complimentary cupcakes (which had been individually designed with sugercraft garden flowers) almost surpassed the hog roast itself!
